Primary Goal

Emphasize developing socialization skills, recognizing and learning to verbalize feelings, developing independence by learning to make appropriate choices and learning to respect and be considerate of one another.

We believe that the children benefit more from concrete learning experiences than from artificial paper and pencil activities; that process is more important than the product.

Teachers model effective communication and sharing while encouraging independence.

A Kindergarten day consists of:

• self-selected play
• circle time
• singing songs
• reading books
• art projects
• sensory experiences
• outdoor playground time
• occasional field trips
