Toddlers

The Toddlers Classroom & Education

2 to 3 years old

Primary Goal

Provide a stimulating, loving, and secure environment in which the children can develop a beginning sense of independence, social skills, and skills in working with learning materials.

As infants move into the toddler phase, their day takes on a more uniform schedule. Feeding and napping take place at the same time for all children. Our Toddlers classroom includes a large space for free play and a classroom environment where singing and learning take place.

Teachers model effective communication and sharing and encourage independence.

A Toddler’s day consists of:

  • self-selected play
  • circle time
  • singing songs
  • reading books
  • art projects
  • sensory experiences
  • outdoor playground time
